He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Hunsucker Stewart; and his brother James H. Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Blake Stewart; his son Tony Stewart (Linda) of Mt. Gilead; his grandson Todd Stewart of Troy; his great grandchildren, Chelsie Renne Stewart of Troy and Taylor Wray Stewart of Troy; and his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Smith of Badin Lake and Michelle S. Bivens of Albemarle.
