Benny Bryant Hampton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2024, at the age of 83, Benny Bryant Hampton (Troy, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Bryant Hampton and Dovie Katherine Coe Hampton; his brother Dwayne Coe Hampton; and his sister-in-law Ann Park Hampton. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Carter Hampton; his children, Lisa Hampton of Asheboro, Lori Hurley (Randy) of Asheboro and Bryant Hampton (Carri) of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Carter Hurley, Ellis Hurley, Luke Hurley, Amber Hampton and Alyssa Hampton; and his brother Terry Hampton (Annis) of Elkin. He is also survived by five nieces and a nephew, six great nieces and four great nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Montgomery Community College Foundation at 1011 Page Street, Troy NC 27371 designated for the Dr. Benny Bryant Hampton Scholarship Endowment or to Troy First Baptist Church at 401 East Main Street, Troy NC 27371 designated to the Youth or Scholarship funds.
