He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin F. Simpson and Mary Elizabeth Bruton Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Alma Wood Simpson; his grandchildren, Wyatt and Emma; and his son Benjy Simpson III (Margo).
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bumgarner Family Funeral Service (620 Albemarle Rd, Troy, NC 27371). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bumgarner Family Funeral Service Chapel (620 Albemarle Rd, Troy, NC 27371). A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Sharon Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
