We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2023, at the age of 83, Wayne Thompson of Troutman, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Thompson and Sarah Ruth Sherrill Thompson; and his sisters, Janet Davidson and Glenda Scripture. He is survived by: his wife Carol Thompson; his daughters, Carla Thompson of Matthews, NC, Carmen Gibson (David) of Mooresville, NC and Lisa Miller (Robert) of Claremont, NC.; his grandson David "Brandon" Gibson of Concord, NC; and his siblings, Tommy Thompson and Sidale Robinson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a great niece and great nephew.
