He is survived by: his wife Ann Cape of Statesville; his children, Timothy Cape (Tabitha) of Statesville, Dana Stewart (Damon) of Stony Point, Denise Carlisi (Tony) of Statesville and Amanda Perry (Will) of Troutman; his grandchildren, Preston, Taylor, Mariah, Hunter, Olin, Harley, Ayden, Mylen, Weston, Tatum, Dallas, Stella, Lilah-Mae, Abby, Aaliyah, Harper, Ensley, RaeLynn, Wyomi and Ann; his sisters, Mary Campbell (Mike) of Harmony and Sue Chapman of Stony Point; and his close friends, Jeff and Crystal Moore of Statesville.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Iredell Memorial Gardens (2304 Shelton Ave, Statesville, NC 28677).
