She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Steniek and Mamie Broome Steniek; her husband William "Bill" Johnson; and her brother H. Max Steniek, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, James Marcus "Mark" Johnson (Tabatha) and Steven Andrew Johnson (Ashley); and her sister Myrtis S. Greene of Troutman. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
