She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlie McCarter Earle and Blease Earle; and her brother Leonard Earle. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Robert Sherer (Bob); her children, Lynn Sherer and Blane Sherer of Asheville; her granddaughters, Amber Sherer of Greenville, S. C. and Celeste Sherer Farmand (Christopher) of Austin Texas; her great grandchildren, Julian Priester and Paisley Farmand; her siblings, Wilmer Earle (late Betty), Tommy Earle (Rachel), Barbara (John) and Peggy; and her cousin Charlotte Jackson (Dick). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be sent to New Perth A.R.P. Church in Troutman or Statesville First A.R.P Church.
