He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Herbert Newton and Angie Nesbit Newton; and his sibling-in-law Rae Sue LaPoint. He is survived by: his wife Vicky; his brother Kim Newton; his nieces and nephews, Aaron, Bryan Newton (Cynthia), Samantha and Abigail; his great-nephew Cameron; his great-nieces, Evelyn and Savannah; his mother-in-law Clarice Wyse; his siblings-in-law, Betty Osborn (Dan), Joy Whitmore (Chip), Tony Jaqua (Lisa), Sonny Wyse (Susan), Bonnie Wyse, Wendy Manthe (Steve), Alan Wyse (Carla) and Michael Wyse (Katie); and his son Jingshuo Li (Jack Martin). He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The Family requests that in lieu of flowers that any donations be made to "The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge" or "Burkitt Lymphoma Cancer Research".
