She was predeceased by: her father James; her son Ronnie E. Sipes; her brother-in-law Tom Stevenson; and her niece Renea Overcash. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy R. Sipes; her son Wesley (Carol); her grandchildren, Heather Sipes Baldwin (Steven), Chris Sipes (Amber) and Justin Sipes (Elizabeth); her great grandchildren, Luke, Hunter Baldwin, Chloe, Kerrigan, Harper, Parker and Lincoln Sipes; and her sisters, Sue Stevenson, Lib Black (Jerry) and Judy Overcash.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gordon Hospice House or to Diamond Hill Baptist Church.
