He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Fillmore Eller and Annie McGuire Eller Bowlin; his stepfather Paul J. Bowlin; his siblings, Wayne Eller and Gayle Cline; and his son-in-law Lee Byrd.
He is survived by: his wife Allena Roberts Eller; his children, Troy David Eller (Yanira) and Rebecca Eller Byrd of Charleston, SC; his siblings, LaVonne Hartley (G. W.) of Hudson, NC, Wade Eller of Laurel Springs, NC, Steven Eller of Caldwell County, David Bowlin (Joy) of Austin, TX and Paul Bowlin, Jr. (Cheryl) of Lenoir, NC; his grandson Lincoln Cash Eller; and his brothers, Erin Grace Strickland and Michael Heath Strickland. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
