He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Odell McGarr and Stella Mae McRary McGarr; and his brothers, Harold Wayne McGarr and Gene Odell McGarr. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Ann Leach (Craig) of Atlanta, Georgia and Angela Almand (Terry) of Statesville; his grandchildren, Brian Fair, Stephanie Fair, Clay Almand and Brandon Almand; and his stepson Russel Mann. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
