It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lawrence William Drye (Troutman, North Carolina), who passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franklin Drye and Ona Deal Drye; his sons, Gary Drye and Lawrence "Lanny" Drye Jr.; his granddaughter Kelli Drye; and his brothers, Carroll Drye and Lonnie Drye.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ruth Campbell of Statesville; his daughters, Sandra Rackley (Mark) of Statesville and Tina Compton (Barry) of Statesville; his sister Helen Drye Ellis (Bill) of Arizona; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Drye and Martha Drye. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
