It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeffery Lenn Sides of Troutman, North Carolina, born in Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 15, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Moorefield Sides of Troutman, NC. and Buddy Sides; and his brother Ernie Sides (Madge) of Troutman, NC.. He is survived by: his children, Jill Lauer (Tommy) of Greensboro, NC, Josh Sides (Maria) of Oak Ridge, NC and Erin Fritz (Tyler) of Wilmington, NC.; his wife Debbie Benfield; his brother Steve Sides of Cary; and his grandchildren, Cam, Macie, Brooks Sides, Owen and Adley Fritz. He is also survived by three children, five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks, with gratitude, that memorials in Jeff's name be made to The V Foundation for Cancer Research.
