She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oswald Murdock and Mildred Sherrill Murdock; her son Grant Holland Brown; and her brother Larry Wayne Murdock. She is survived by: her husband Lannie L. Brown; her daughters, Gwyn Brown Oates (Billy) of Easley, SC and Ellen Brown Warner (Bret) of Greenwood, SC; her grandchildren, Justin Oates of Jefferson, GA, Jordan Oates (Jennifer) of Fountain Inn, SC, Jillian Reid (Chris) of Longmont, CO, Olivia Daly (James) of Charleston, SC, Aidan Warner of Columbia, SC and Emily Warner of Atlanta, GA.; and her siblings, Joyce Murdock Feilke of Austin, TX, Ken Murdock of Troutman and Teri Murdock Earnhardt of Salisbury.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Troutman PO (204 Mills Ave, Troutman, NC 28166). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
