James Allen Edmiston Jr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Allen Edmiston Jr. of Troutman, North Carolina, who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Allen Edmiston, Sr. and Allie Gray Douglass Edmiston; his daughter Laura Bowles; and his sister Anne Edmiston. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne Edmiston; his son Doug Edmiston (Dede); his stepson Sam Wilson (Robbie); his grandchildren, Blake Bowles, Jimmy Edmiston (Molly), Janie Edmiston and Charlie Edmiston; his sisters, Mary Tolbert (Carl) and Ethel Mercer (Ron); and his close friends, Mike, Diana Hill, Lois Gonzalez, Kay Robbins, Pam Bumgarner and Paula Zahm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County at 2347 Simonton Rd, Statesville, NC 28625 or to the Troutman Fire Department at 125 N. Main St, Troutman, NC 28166.
