He was predeceased by: his father Everett Ervin; and his siblings, Tommy, Vernon Ervin, Miriam and Nancy Ervin.
He is survived by: his daughter Ellen Gail Ervin; his siblings, Danny Ervin, Melvin Ervin, Bud Ervin, Sonya Blake and Carlene Willard; and his half-sisters, Faye and Doris. He is also survived by brothers, sisters, daughter and grandchildren.
