With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iva Lee Queen of Troutman, North Carolina, who passed away on February 24, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Talmadge DeWitt Moore and Gertrude Souther Moore; her husband William Glen Queen; and her siblings, DeWitt Moore, Ruby Moore, Geneva Compton, Chester Moore, Dwight Moore and Junior Moore.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Queen Nantz (Darrell) of Troutman, NC and Teresa Queen Jenkins (Guy) of Newport, NC; her grandchildren, Angela Wigginton (Ty) of Mooresville, Amanda Nantz (Emily) of Greensboro, Matthew Jenkins of Leland, NC and Jessica Jenkins of Newport, NC; her great grandchildren, Chase, Cannon, Laila, Mia, Aspen Wigginton, Jace and Copelyn Jenkins; and her caregivers, Alice, Julia and Kim.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beulah Heights Wesleyan Church or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County.
