It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Miller (Troutman, North Carolina), who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Love Hodge and Connie Warren Hodge; and her brother Ira "Joe" Hodge (Teresa). She is survived by: her husband William Edward "W. E."; her children, Carla Miller Norman and Douglas Edward Miller (April Kiesling Miller); her grandchildren, Parker Douglas Norman and Niels Spencer Norman; her former husband Richard Cooley of Woodleaf; her son-in-law Hunter Norman; and her siblings, Peggy Cashion (Houston), Ruth Mullis (Graham), Sue Overman (Dwight), Connie Fero (Bob) and Charles Hodge (Darvia). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
