With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendolene Howard (Troutman, North Carolina), who passed away on December 2, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Templeton and Ruby Redmond Templeton; her husband Ralph L. Howard; and her sisters, Eula Brown, Lois Goforth and Lunelle Turner.
She is survived by: her sons, Lynn (Linda), Tommy (Ellie) and Ronnie (Judy); her grandchildren, Rob, Chad, Kevin, Nicole, Matthew, Travis and Kyle; her great grandchildren, Anna Katherine, Thomas, Will, Luke, Liz, Ella, Kate, Sydney, Aubrynn, Avery, Brenna, Smith, Brayden and Karis; and her caregivers, Clifton, Barbara Benge, Gary, Christine Edwards, Mary York, Rema Britt, Samantha, Mia, Chasity Cash and Bonnie Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Baptist Church or the Gordon Hospice House of Statesville.
