She was predeceased by: her father Walter Lynch; her former husband John Carl Murdock, Jr.; her husband Gilmer Lethco Murdock; her daughter Nancy Anne Murdock Barnes; and her stepson Gilmer Lethco Murdock, Jr. (Frances).

She is survived by: her mother Eva Kiser Lynch; her son John Carl Murdock, III (Louise) of Mount Pleasant; and her stepdaughter Kathryn Page (Darrell) of Elizabethtown. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Iredell County or Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
