She was predeceased by: her parents, William T. Shore, Sr. and Sinia Holleman Shore; her husband Sheldon Jackson Murdock; her siblings, William Shore, Jr., Velma Parlier and Faye Byers; and her grandchildren, Jacob Michael Southers and Amanda Murdock.

She is survived by: her children, Sheldon Brinner Murdock (Judy), Dennis Murdock (Nancy), Aaron Scott Murdock, Chad Murdock (Lisa) and Natalie Moose (Jerry); her grandchildren, Joshua Murdock, Jessica Cross (Greg), Cassie Osborne (Josh), Justin Murdock and Matthew Murdock; her great grandchildren, Ashlen Osborne, Faith Osborne, Tate Cross and Chase Cross; and her sister Thelma Russ.
