He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bunyon Joye and Sarah Frances; and his nephew Robert David Arthur. He is survived by: his wife Brenda DeHart Joye; his daughter Laura Joye Cochran; his son-in-law Michael Cochran; his grandson Fox Cochran; and his siblings, Robert Joye (Kathy) of Pensacola, FL, Charles Joye of Pensacola, FL, George Joye (Amy) of Union Grove, NC, Tim Joye (Kristen) of Northwest, NC and Nancy Joye Bowers of Statesville, NC.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
