He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dallas Townsend and Margaret Townsend; his wife Pat King Townsend; his daughters, Lisa Hilborn (Matt), Christy Sherman and Starr Sink; his grandchildren, Salem, Evan, Isaac, Maddie, Micah, Carrie and Ben; his brother Dr. Kenneth Townsend (Diann) of Myrtle Beach; his children, Manirath, Monisophan, Sopheap, Thearayouk and Sarapech; and his caregivers, Padma, Margaret, Rebecca, Candice, Debbie, Lorrie, Angela, Renee and David.
