He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Glenn and Leona Wilkenson Cavin; his son Michael Cavin; and his siblings, Larry Cavin and Mozelle Lambert.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Mullis Cavin; his children, Steven Cavin and Amy Hauser (Todd); his daughter-in-law Kim Cavin; and his grandchildren, Joey Holshouser (Ashleigh), Josh Reiman (Megan), Ashley Haynes (Kyle), Tanner Cavin, Landon Cavin and Jacob Holshouser. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
