We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2023, at the age of 81, Betty Jean Baity (Troutman, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reid Messick and Mary Evelyn Moose Messick; and her husband Billy Jay Baity (Baity). She is survived by: her grandchildren, Bill J. Baity, Jr., Melynn Baity Cairo and Kimberlye Baity Privette (Mitchell); her great grandchildren, Ryleigh Nicholson and Rhett Nicholson; her siblings, Dr. Shirley Bowles (David), Bobby Messick (Rose) and June "Cookie" Messick; and her half-sister Gloria Hager.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hebron Baptist Church at 175 Hebron Rd, Statesville, NC 28625.
