She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford P. Steele and Virginia Thompson Steele; her sister Barbara S. Tsumas; and her great-niece Abigail Grace Tsumas. She is survived by: her nephew Harry M. Tsumas (Ellen); her niece Harriet T. Tsitouris (Steve); her great-nieces, Anna T. Gordon (Zach) and English T. Blanton (Charlie); her great-nephew Dustin Crawford (Lauren); her brother-in-law Harry L. Tsumas; and also, Emma Rose, Charlotte, Ellis, Tatum, Angela Jane, River Jean, Banks, Dylan Crawford (Haley) and Waylon.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Broad Street United Methodist Church (315 W Broad St, Statesville, NC 28677).
