He is survived by: his wife Carol Vanzant Alley; his children, Kena O'Brien of Kannapolis, Wayne Alley of China Grove, Kevin Alley of China Grove, Jeff Alley of Salisbury and Keith Alley of Granite Quarry; his sisters, Deborah Kirby of Charlotte and Shirley Gilliland of Wilkesboro; and his grandchildren, Kristy Harkey, David Lane, Chad Alley, Brian Alley, Cheslie Alley, Brandon Alley, Mitchell Alley, Alyssa Alley, Douglas Alley and Ryan Alley. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
