She was predeceased by: her parent Edward B. King; her husband Clyde Teague; her children-in-law, Ray Shelton and Kristine Teague; and her sister Vera Bowen.

She is survived by: her parent Mamie Hudson King; her children, Brenda Shelton of Hickory, Doug Teague (Charlotte) of Shelby and Dwight Teague of Hickory; and her grandchildren, Debbie Moritz (Michael) of Conover, Barbara Weaver (Brock) of Valdese, Jennifer Garvley (Keith) of Hickory, Jessica Paul (Milo) of Charlotte, Erin Watts (Bill) of Washington, DC, Meredith Macfarlane (Matt) of Raleigh, Steve Shelton (Dawn) of Hildebran, Bryan Shelton (Monica) of Connelly Springs, Justin Teague (Shellie) of Hickory and Jeffery Teague (Ricki) of Toronto Canada. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
