He was predeceased by: his father William Joseph; his wife Mary Theresa Molloy; his son William Edward Molloy, Jr.; his sister Joan Hoffman; and his son-in-law Stephen Helmerson.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Christopher Molloy, Ellen Helmerson, Deirdre Messick (Scott) and Marian Doherty (Thomas); and his grandchildren, Kathleen Doherty, Gavin Doherty, Connor Doherty, Matthew Messick, Jake Messick, Caroline Messick, Maura Helmerson and Ethan Helmerson. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
