It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Travis Morton Sr. of Trinity, North Carolina, who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Morton and Louise Morton; and his former wife Carolyn Flowers Morton. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Jean Reddish Morton; his children, Sherri Morton of Trinity, Travis Mitchell "Timo" Morton, Jr., Michael T. Morton of Charlotte and Kimberly E. Doane (Russell) of Sophia; his sister Shelva Morton Bass of High Point; his grandchildren, Shanna Kimmer, Shane Spoone (Angela), Lauren McDowell (Seth), Kristen Morton, Chad Morton, Andrea Morton and Olivia Doane; his great grandchildren, Vivian McDowell, Jack Michael McDowell, Dontae Spoone, Sarah Spoone and Gracie Kimmer; and his stepdaughters, Tammy Elvington and Penny Lee.
