He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dixon and Joyce Faulkner Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Long Dixon; his siblings, Lisa Oliphant (Keith) and Eddie Dixon (Elaine); his stepson Jason Whitt; and his grandchildren, Jason and Jaylynn Whitt. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
