He was predeceased by: his parents, James Grady and Hazel Marie Gray Beal; his wife Frances Irene Hamm Beal; and his brother Grady Beal, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Beal Cox (Scott) of Randleman and Stephanie Beal Brown (Leonard) of Trinity; his grandchildren, Hailey Butler, Zakary Butler, Carrie Butler, Lauren Brown and DJ Brown; and his sister Diane Childress (Thomas) of Lexington.
