She is survived by: her children, Jamie Nifong Tucker (Mike) of Denton, NC and Michael Craig Massman Jr. (Andy Gaddis) of Trinity, NC; and her siblings, Shirley Samuels Swicegood (Flynn) of Lexington and James "Peanut" Samuels (Laura). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
