He is survived by: his stepchildren, Jerry "Paul" Sentell, Jr. (Melody) of Denton, Paulette S. Byrd (Allen) of Thomasville and Laura S. Gray of Trinity; his grandchildren, Joshua Lee Byrd (Jennifer Owens), Raechelle Trieglaff and Payton "Christopher" Gray; and his great grandchildren, Haven Leigh Byrd, Jason Lee Byrd, Lacie Willoughby, Makenna Kawelo, Alexandria Grandy, Benjamin Sentell, Natalie Cobbler and Tyler Hege.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360).
