She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie L. Matthews and Ettie Linthicum Matthews; and her siblings, Lena Portis, Clyde Matthews, J. L. Matthews, Clarence Matthews, Clifford Matthews and Harold Deen Matthews.
She is survived by: her husband Terry Trent Fowler; her children, Todd Fowler and Angie Williams of Trinity; her grandchildren, Jordain King (Kevin), Courtney Snow (Justin) and Logan Williams; and her great grandchild Bailie King.
