He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Shepherd and Margaret Shaver Shepherd. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Sykes Shepherd; his children, Dustin Shepherd of McLeansville, Sherri Sandage (Michael) of Randleman and Stephanie Cole (James Harward) of Greensboro; his sister Linda Collins (Ken) of Archdale; his grandchildren, Corey Shepherd, Brandi Sandage, Ashley Agner, Christopher Childress, Victoria Myers and Zenada Rutledge; and his great grandchildren, Shayne, Wyatt, Chrystal, Aprilia, Holden, Atticus and Brianna.
