He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee Hale, Sr. and Betty Rainwater Hale; and his brother Larry Cox. He is survived by: his wife Annette Oxendine Hale; his stepdaughters, Delisha Oxendine and Lakeisha Oxendine; and his siblings, Ronnie Hale (Beatrice), Willard Hale, Betty Jean Cleary (Tommy), Phyllis Hale and Alice Dolinger (Garney).
