He was predeceased by: his parents, James William and Pansey Mae Ataley Leonard; and his brother James William Leonard, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Annette Mullis Leonard; his children, Phillip Ray Leonard, Jr. (Christa) and Crystal Leann Leonard of Thomasville; his stepson Michael Mosley (Jenifer) of Trinity; his grandchildren, Caleb Earl, Leah Leonard, Chloe Leonard and Triston Leonard; and his siblings, Judy Leonard of Charlotte and Tommy Leonard (Vickie) of Thomasville.
