She was predeceased by: her husband Roland E. Stuart; and her parents, Fennell Lanier and Betsy Lanier. She is survived by: her children, James (Libby) and Melinda Holladay Hales; her sister Margaret (Ed Futrell); her nephews, Ranny Futrell, Norwood, Brent Futrell, Eddie Hales (Veronica), Jeff Hales (Natalie) and Kris Hines (John); her niece Sandra Futrell; and her sisters-in-law, Rhoda Whytsell, Abby Hines, Parker Hamilton, Griffin Hales, Finley Hales and Ransom Holladay.
The family would like memorials be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in her memory.
