He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Long and Lillian Gant Long; his wife Melissa Long of Trinity; his sons, Mitchell Long (Whitney) of High Point and Matthew Turner (Carley) of High Point; his brothers, David Long of Charlotte and Barry Long of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Hailey Turner, Madison Turner, Alyssa Turner, Reid Long and Ava Long; his siblings-in-law, Connie Long of Trinity, Tonya Turner of High Point and Toby Turner of High Point; and his brothers, Rick and Steve Long.
