She is survived by: her children, Janet Somey (Hans Kelly) and Dr. Jeffrey Rickman (Kathryn); her sister Linda Medley; her grandchildren, John Rickman Hall (Jennifer), Jacqueline Rickman Frey (Bryan), Jesse Harris Rickman and William Harris Rickman; her great grandchildren, June Elizabeth Hall, James Edward Hall, Caroline McEwen Frey and Jack Henry Rickman Frey; and her stepchildren, Melissa Smith, Jim Crisp (Susan) and Phil Crisp (Eva). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery (1508 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy, Mt Holly, NC 28120). Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (375 Woodlawn Ave, Mt Holly, NC 28120).
