He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Lester Mobley, Sr. and Emma Stella "Ted" Hines Mobley; and his brother Kenneth Mobley. He is survived by: his son Marvin "Butch" Lester Mobley III of Trinity; his grandchildren, Brooke Barnes of Winston-Salem and Colten Mobley of Raleigh; and his great grandchildren, Kristin Barnes, Camden Barnes and Bailey Allen.
