He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Monroe and Mary Case Lefler; his children, Michelle Faulkner and Lonnie R. Burchfield, Sr.; and his sister Irene Wagoner.
He is survived by: his wife Shana Robles Lefler; his stepsons, Jeremy Skidmore (Tanya) of Lexington and Michael Skidmore of Thomasville; and his sister Lorene Smith (Rex) of High Point. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
