She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Velmer and Illa Taylor McMahan; her daughter Cynthia Hogue; her grandchildren, Holly, Heather Hogue and Jonathan Hogue; and her siblings, Wilma Mize, Robert McMahan, Ray McMahan of Leroy McMahan, R. B and Billy Joe McMahan.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald "Rick" Hogue; her children, Susan Grainger (Eddie) of Lexington and Tony Hogue (Sheila) of Mt. Gilead; her grandchildren, Carinah Boyles (Jordan), Josh Grainger and Valerie Hogue; her great grandchildren, Jaelynn Boyles and Raylan Boyles; and her siblings, Daisy Grant of Thomasville, Glenda Knul of Randleman, Clyde McMahan (Wanda) of Archdale and Samuel McMahan (Rose) of Bryson City. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
