She was predeceased by: her parent Alonzo Baird; and her sister Norma Jean Baird. She is survived by: her parent Ella Baird; her husband Joseph "Joe" Y. Jernigan; her children, Debra Smith (Gregg) of Thomasville, Terry Jernigan of Trinity and Sandra Cress (Eddie) of Archdale; her grandchildren, Erin Crews (Chip) of Trinity, Tessa Smith of Thomasville, Leea Crays (Jonathan) of High Point, Molly Jernigan of Archdale, Ashley Provence of Pinehurst and Kaylan Provence of Randleman; and her siblings, Betty Ingram (Clinton) and Austin Baird (Linda). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
