She was predeceased by: her husband Don Scearce; and her siblings, Theodore Ferguson Jr., Richard Ferguson, Glenn Ferguson, James Ferguson, Georgia Ferguson and Helen Widener.
She is survived by: her brother Alan Ferguson Barney Ferguson (Chris); her sister-in-law Marcia Ferguson; and her close friend Scrappy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, if desired donations can be made to the picnic shelter at Colonial Baptist Church or Hospice of the Piedmont.
