She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Esther Surratt (Honeycutt) and Clyde Melvin Surratt, Sr.; her siblings, Linda Faye Surratt, Mary Morris, Clyde Melvin Surratt, Jr. and Larry Martin Smith; and her husbands, John Wayne Alexander of Hartsville, SC, Wallace Armstrong Morris of Troy, NC and Miles Glenn Parnell of Albemarle, NC.
She is survived by: her brothers, John Wayne Surratt, Sr. (Judy) of Ladson, SC and Rodney Lee Surratt (Rosa) of New London, NC.; and her children, Melissa Dean (James) of Trinity, David Wayne Alexander of Albemarle and Wallace Lee Morris of Norwood. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Homes (120 College St, Norwood, NC 28128).
