It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Waitman (Trinity, North Carolina), born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on March 20, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harper Foil and Mary Lee Myers Waitman; and his brother Juan Vestal Waitman. He is survived by: his wife Vera Kindley Waitman; his children, Larry Waitman (Robin) of Sevierville, Craig Waitman (Lori) of Thomasville and Melodie Rush (Gary) of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Josh Waitman (Shana), Stephen Waitman (Kelly), Megan Higgins (Jason), Joy Curol (Nick), Jason Fowler, Marilyn Fowler Zickefroose (Zac), Noah Waitman (Tiffany), Meghan Ross (Josh) and Brittani Edwards (Travis); and his sister Judith Waitman Parks (Jerry) of Lexington. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
