We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Kathryn Laton in Trinity, North Carolina, born in Elberton, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Virgil and Lillian Griffin Speight; her husband Luther James Laton; and her great grandchild Violette Isabelle Laton. She is survived by: her children, Steve Laton (Marcie) of Albemarle, Ann Hayward (Tony) of Monroe, LA and Donald Laton of Raleigh; and her brother Amos Speight (Marian) of Fayetteville, GA. She is also survived by four grandsons and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given in her memory to First United Methodist Church of Norwood or the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford, NC.
