He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennings Lemuel Gray Phillips and Frances Hall Phillips Stroud; and his sister Becky Arrington. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Macon Phillips; his daughter Wendy (Ricky); his granddaughters, Madison (Dalton) and Alyson; his sisters, Carol Trotter and Mary Sue Waters; his aunt Dottie Haith Ward; and his pets, Sissy and Bella. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
